In 2019, Clare Local Development Company contracted the Burrenbeo Trust to facilitate Community Biodiversity Training for 15 communities in Co. Clare. We adapted a community-led approach to the training so that communities could work together to create a biodiversity plan that was based on the principles and priorities of the people who lived locally. As a result of this training, the following community action plans were developed by the communities in Co.Clare to protect and enhance nature and wildlife in their areas.
