The Burrenbeo Trust is extremely grateful that you would consider us at this time. Making a donation in memory of a loved one is a great way to pay tribute to them by making a difference in supporting the work of the Burrenbeo Trust to conserve Ireland’s most unique landscape.
You can make a donation in memory in the following ways:
In memory single donation
This donation can be made online, by cheque or in person at our office. Please provide us with the name of the person you would like us to commemorate and acknowledge.
In lieu of flowers donation
Many families like to support an organisation to honour their loved ones by asking people to donate to an organisation in lieu of funeral flowers. This request can be included in the death notice of your loved one.
Donations in lieu of flowers to: Burrenbeo Trust, Glebe House, Glebe Road, Kinvara, Co.Galway. 091 638096 / www.burrenbeo.com. Your family and friends can make their donation online, by cheque or in person at our office.
Donate to support a particular programme
You can choose to donate to a particular programme in memory of your loved one. Please provide us with the details of the person you would like us to commemorate and acknowledge.
Here are some examples:
- The Young Burren Ambassador Bursary Fund;
- Our Ecobeo heritage in schools programme;
- Training and upskilling of our conservation volunteers.

Your loved one will be acknowledged in our annual ‘Our Year in the Burren’ magazine for donations made in their honour. A letter will also be sent to the family to inform them of your donation in memory of their loved one.
