Events

Burrenbeo Trust carry out numerous monthly and annual events.  See details of our regular events here.

Monthly Heritage Walk

On the 1st Sunday of every month, the Burrenbeo Trust organises an educational monthly heritage walk for its members somewhere in the Burren.  The themes are centred around natural, built and cultural heritage.

Monthly Webinar

On the second Wednesday of every month, Burrenbeo Trust hosts a Wonderful Wednesday Webinar  on various aspects of the Burren’s heritage with inspiring speakers.

Burren in Bloom

This is a festival of walks and talks held in May every year to celebrate the arrival of the unique summer flora in the Burren region.

Burren Winterage Weekend

Each year, the Burren farmers take their cattle into the Burren highlands, or up to the winterage.  This unique tradition of farming is key to the Burren’s heritage and the Burren Winterage Weekend festival celebrates this annual movement of cattle through a range of walks, talks, workshops and family events.

Learning Landscape Symposium

Burrenbeo Trust carry out an annual conference on place-based learning.
