Monthly Heritage Walk
On the 1st Sunday of every month, the Burrenbeo Trust organises an educational monthly heritage walk for its members somewhere in the Burren. The themes are centred around natural, built and cultural heritage.
Monthly Webinar
On the second Wednesday of every month, Burrenbeo Trust hosts a Wonderful Wednesday Webinar on various aspects of the Burren’s heritage with inspiring speakers.
Burren in Bloom
This is a festival of walks and talks held in May every year to celebrate the arrival of the unique summer flora in the Burren region.
Burren Winterage Weekend
Each year, the Burren farmers take their cattle into the Burren highlands, or up to the winterage. This unique tradition of farming is key to the Burren’s heritage and the Burren Winterage Weekend festival celebrates this annual movement of cattle through a range of walks, talks, workshops and family events.
