Burrenbeo Trust would like to invite you to our annual Midsummer Walk in the Burren and picnic to remember our Co-founder Ann O’Connor Dunford. There will be two options of guided walks available to cater for varying abilities.

Long walk: 10-1 pm An approximately 9km long guided loop walk through a mix of rough ground, farmland and a minor road to Cahercommaun ring fort and picnic at Daly’s Cross.

Short walk: 11am-1pm An approximately 4km guided loop walk to Cahercommaun ring fort and a picnic at Daly’s Cross. This walk is well suited for families however please note that the track is over rough ground and is not buggy-friendly.

Picnic:1pm-2pm We welcome attendees of both the long and short walks to have a picnic together at Daly’s Cross at 1pm. Feel free to bring you own food – we will provide tea, coffee and scones.
