A Burren Journey
Celebrating the legacy of Brian & Noirin Mooney
Wednesday 8th February
8.30pm @ Tubber Village Hall
(OS52 N395 W956)
A Burren Journey: A celebration of the abiding legacy of Brian and Noirin Mooney to the social, economic and artistic life of the Burren. For over 40 years, Brian and Noirin Mooney and their children have been centrally involved in an extraordinary range of creative projects in the Burren, from the Burren Centre in Kilfenora to the precursor of Burren perfumery, from the Burren Chernobyl Project to the Clare Pilgrim way. In addition to this, Noirin’s much-admired work as a painter, and Brian’s as a poet, represent a wonderful creative legacy in their own right. This month’s Tubber Tea Talk will be a celebration of Brian and Noirin’s Burren journey, with a range of contributors. All are welcome. The kettle will be on from 8pm if anyone would like to join us for a cup of tea beforehand.
This event is open to everyone. However, it is free for Burrenbeo Trust Members and a suggested €5 donation from non-members. For more information please email [email protected] or phone 091 638096.
