The Burrenbeo Conservation Volunteers are delighted to invite you to their Open Day
where they will show case the work they are carrying out, striving to care for the stunning landscape of the Burren. This event is open to all – if you are an existing volunteer come along and bring a friend, if you have never volunteered with us before come along, bring a friend and make new friends!
U18’s welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
From butterflies and bats to walls, scrub and archaeology, the Burrenbeo Conservation Volunteers (BCV) are involved in many various projects, some of them working with other local groups, to achieve impressive results in the Burren.
The open day is to be run in the Carron area in the centre of the Burren. During the day there will be the chance to learn more about the work of the BCV and to talk to some of the experts the BCV work alongside on various projects. This event will also include two short volunteering sessions with a selection of different activities to try out under the guidance of some of our experts.
We will finish up the day with a BBQ where you can relax after the hard work and get to know the other volunteers.
Clear your head in the fresh Burren air, meet like-minded, friendly people, and feel good about knowing you are working for the benefit and wellbeing of the Burren.
Places are limited and must be booked by emailing [email protected]
