The Burrenbeo October members’ walk will take a look at the Autumnal blooms which can be found in the Burren. The walk will be led by Sinéad Keane who has an M.Sc in Botany (NUIG) and a B.Sc. in Phytotherapy (University of Wales). Sinéad has many years experience working with adults and children delivering walks, talks and workshops, has worked as a consultant ecologist to the National Parks and Wildlife Service and is an Heritage in Schools expert with the Heritage Council.
The walk will start at 2pm in the eastern Burren and exact location details will be sent to all members of Burrenbeo Trust. While the focus of the walk will be on information sharing rather than covering large distances a reasonable level of fitness is required.
