Burren Farm Experience with Bronagh O’Rourke
Join us for Burrenbeo’s monthly members’ walk with young Burren farmer, Bronagh O’ Rourke. Bronagh will give an insight into what she and her family do as dry stock beef farmers on their stunning 500 acre farm of mixed species-rich grassland, deciduous woodland and limestone pavement in the Burren National Park.
Start: The start location for the walk will be sent to members in the week before the walk.
Suitable footwear, such as waterproof walking boots and appropriate clothing for possible wet, blustery weather, are required. Please ensure you read the walk risk assessment before attending. You will be asked to indicate that you have read this when signing in on the day. The walk risk assessment can be viewed here.
Please also bear in mind that ticks are common across the Burren and there have been reported cases of Lyme Disease in this area. For more information on Lyme Disease follow this link.
