The Burrenbeo Trust Winter Tea Talk series starts on Wednesday 14th of November at 8:30pm in Tubber Village Hall. This month’s talk, “Tools and Traditions: a look back at Burren farming in times past” with John Connolly, Michael O’Donohue and friends, is a celebration of farming in the Burren in days gone by, explored through videos and images of Burren farming in the 1950s from the Creswell Archive, as well as a range of farm implements used by previous generations. Bring your own farm implements to show and tell! The kettle will be on from 8pm if you would like to join us for a cup of tea beforehand. This event is open to everyone: it’s free for Burrenbeo Trust Members and a €5 donation from non-members is suggested. For more information email [email protected] or phone 091 638096. The Burrenbeo Trust winter talks are at 8:30pm at Tubber Village Hall on the second Wednesday of every month until March. See you in Tubber!
