Our Limestone Landscapes : Newfoundland, Canada
‘Limestone Barrens of the Great Northern Peninsula, Newfoundland, Canada – a biodiversity hotspot’ is the subject of the final Webinar in the series, ‘Our Limestone Landscapes’.
Speakers for the evening are plant conservation ecologist, Luise Hermanutz and program supervisor of the Limestone Barrens Stewardship Program, Dulcie House. They will talk about the barrens and some of their efforts to conserve the rare plants found here for the last 20+ years.
This talk is organised by Burrenbeo Trust – an independent landscape charity with no core funding. We work hard to sustain out 25 plus programmes throughout the year. Please do consider supporting us through donations or membership at www.burrenbeo.com
