Burren Visitor Cafes
Most towns in the Burren, plus a number of rural enterprises, contain a café or teahouse of some shape or form. Though the lust for caffeine is a relatively recent phenomenon in Ireland (where the cup of tea reigned supreme for generations), today there are no shortage of establishments where a quality brew may be had.
Usually cafes in the Burren and elsewhere also serve a limited range of food – from pastries and sandwiches in some cased to full blown meals in others. Prices are usually more reasonable than in restaurants and cafes are a more popular option for daytime dining or for an informal pitstop in a day’s travel.
Within this section you will find a listing of some of the cafes of the Burren. This is designed to offer you some options during your visit to the region, but does not offer any guarantee of quality or service. If you care to let us know what you thought of your visit to any of the listed establishments we can pass your comments along so that the quality is maintained or enhanced. Also, be sure to mention burrenbeo when you stop off at these cafes - this way you can help us to improve our service to you.
