Burrenbeo is very grateful to all our sponsors, from private individuals, local business organisations and agencies that have all part-funded us over the years.

The original Burrenbeo website was supported by Clare County Enterprise Board, the Heritage Council Publication Grant and by LEADER Co. Clare.

In 2008 Burrenbeo received funding from a Failte Ireland sponsored and Clare County Council driven project called Burren Connect. This funding supported Burrenbeo in the second phase of the rollout of  'Eco-Beo' .  Clare County Council also paid for a licensing fee that helped Burrenbeo provide content to nine information hubs across the region and with  ENFO provided funding for interactive multimedia modules that are now incorporated into this website.( learning section)

Burrenbeo Trust received funding from  Galway GRD in the development of our resource centre in Kinvara. This support paid for Burren information notice boards.

So far this year Burrenbeo has received Clare LEADER funding which has supported an update of the Burrenbeo website. Galway County Council has provided a publication grant which has gone  towards the 'Burren Insight' magazine. The VEC has also offered Burrenbeo a small grant which will go towards our adult heritage programme. 

We are presently awaiting funding applications decisions from the following organisations: The Heritage Council, Department of Health (Lottery Fund) and The Ireland Funds. We hope some, if not all of these applications prove to be successful in supporting Burrenbeo's  work programme 2011-2013.
