5.45am @ outside Spar Supermarket, Ballyvaughan.
The very first walk of the Burren in Bloom festival and Burrenbeo’s May walk. Gordon D’Arcy, natural historian, author & wildlife artist.will lead this walk under the Burren dawn light. Jim from the Village Stores (Spar) will kick-start the morning by welcoming the walkers with a coffee and croissant. Meet at Spar Supermarket in Ballyvaughan and bring good walking shoes and waterproofs. Also bring binoculars if you have a pair. A reasonable level of fitness is required.
