Hone your nature detective skills by locating some of the rarest insects and plants found in Europe. Enjoy the time of your life while you get to know this mysterious landscape. Listen to the stories from the past and help build a real life Fulachta Fiadh (Bronze Age cooking pot) or maybe build a wildlife den from Hazel wood*
Every Burren Wild Child day is jam packed with fun themed games, crafts and activities all which allow us to learn about ourselves and our relationship with an ancient people and their home. Burrenbeo aims to connect children and young people to the natural world. Our main objective is to instill a sense of pride and responsibility towards the natural world and to the local community in which they live.
